Irony and street photography.
The things that street photography can depict: humor, irony, sadness, and just about any sort of literary feeling. It has a much wider swath of human emotions than most other forms of photography.
He is going through stacks of books that were tossed in my garbage. It all happens quickly and I don’t see the book he has in his hand but spin around and take a picture and continue on into my house. Months later (this was in the film age) I look at the negative for the fourth or fifth time and notice the name of the book that hes pulled from the garbage and has in his hand (there’s also a bandage on his index finger): 101 CAREERS. You could shoot for most of your life without running into that sort of irony.
