This is a “pano” composite image of 21 images stitched together. You may have walked down this passage a thousand times but I doubt if you ever saw it look this regal. Like most of the composite images I’ve been working on lately, it can easily be printed much larger than the sizes shown.

Just before dawn. Summer 2005. Some very pleasing grain in this shot which looks like it might have been done in 1940. Arc of Grand Central Station in foreground; Chrysler building background.

Grand Central Station is an historic point of interest in New York, as of course is the Chrysler building. Unfortunately, as far as I know, there are no tours of the Chrysler Building. One thing I’ve wanted to do for a long time, but never have is take one of the helicopter tours of New York. Some of them will do night tours of the major NYC landmark buildings.

Brooklyn Bridge, Summer of 2007. This was photographed with infrared film. I suppose the Brooklyn Bridge is one of the top ten tourist attractions in the New York. It’s been photographed so many times that it’s hard to find a new way to shoot it, which is why I thought I try it with infrared film. This is one of the most popular bridge shots in the store.
