Certain objects re-appear in these photographs in different guises. I’m not always sure why. We played by the benches which lined the middle of the boulevard when I was a kid… Whatever the reason, they show up in these pictures quite often. It had been raining all night. The boardwalk was soaked and so was I. The challenge was to capture the dark gleam of the wood against a light clearing sky, and to arrange benches in a pleasing geometric design. This was, one of the first “fine art prints” that I was really proud of.
Dave, I received my signed and numbered 11×14 print of the “Benches”. I purchased this after buying the 8×10 edition. I must admit that this was the easiest transaction I have ever made on Ebay. Got the high bid, filled out the necessary information for payment and it was in the mail the next day. I received it 2 days later in excellent condition.
