This is what I’m working on now. I’ve wanted to do this for a long time. Let a user choose images, and then move them around on the screen. I’ve got proof of concept, i.e. I haven’t put the images in yet, and it only works for a couple of hardcoded containers – but I have tested dynamically creating containers based on the number of wishlist items; and really there’s only one main thing to do and that’s get the images in the containers.

If I really want to go nuts, I can then create various backgrounds – i.e. a living room, or kitchen etc. let people choose the background, and then let them move the images around.

A lot of work using something I’m new to (JQuery). I began programming this morning, and by pulling code from various plugins and getting a good idea of how the JQuery works – I could get everything in place by tomorrow.

Here’s the page if you want to get an idea of what I’m talking about. Use the mouse to click down and hold a white square and drag it wherever you want.

Stage One of my Moveable Image Wishlist This would make a really super WordPress Plugin for photographers.
