AfterAccident

There is a lot of material (too much) from my days in France. I just found another 50 rolls of Medium Format stuff from the trip around the perimeter of France. I’ve at least gone through all the boxes and organized them (step one). In other words, I have pulled all the boxes with Medium Format and 35mm negs.

Right now, I’ve put them aside as I have “real work” to get through. But I should be able to get back to the viewing / scanning in a few days. Frankly, going through the negatives is going to take about as much time as when I was actually in France.

As far as this shot goes – the bicyclist just bumped into a car – (which I didn’t see) but turned to see him stunned, and of course the police were there to give him a ticket.

  2. Really enjoying this Paris series Dave. This is a classic. The facial expressions, the muted tones on building in the background and the Backstreet Boys poster on the bus combine beautifully.

The policeman and the cyclist look like brothers…

50 rolls of MF? You’re channeling Winogrand now.

  3. Thanks. I was upset at the time that I had “missed the moment.” But I learned later on that there were lots of moments.
