I’ve got everything working again… i.e. back to the creative stuff.
Again, another tonemapped image that never quite made it without this extra umph.
I will just make one more note regarding the mac conversion: uhm, all of you who advised me on going mac, well I owe you an apology for taking this long to get around to it.
I have have my third day of whipping through prints, and am finally catching up with the printing I have to do. The monitor matches the print within say 5%. The computer is quiet. The keyboard is easy to type on.
And everything – including the text printing I’ve done looks better. I don’t know why. But there it is; and I haven’t jumped into Windows 7 on the machine. So hears to all of you who knew what you were talking about and for convincing a stubborn guy to take the plunge.
No, I haven’t forgotten about the Photobloggers Society. But paying customers come first.

Hi Dave:
Glad enerything is back to normal and you can concentrate on the creative stuff.
From February 10 to 24 spent time on Bejing, Hong Kong and Singapore. My wife had to go to Singapore for business so we made a vacation out of it. Boiled down the shots to about 800 so far that I posted to flickr.com. and still working on it for a book.
Got some great stuff.
The lonk is below.
Appreciate your comments.

Dave glad your conversion to the mac was seemless and relatively pain free, they are the best period.
This is a wonderful shot and I love the tones, as for the society don’t worry, we understand..
Dave had a blonde moment changed my link to http://www.martinyeates.com/ and forgot to change it on previous post..
Well, I can’t remember whether I offered an urging or not, but happy nonetheless that it all went relatively painlessly.
