Here's my first big thank you offer just being posted to people in my circles…

Here's my first big thank you offer just being posted to people in my circles to begin with. For $10 you can choose any or all of the high resolution files listed on the page below.

It's only for the first 100 people. I am offering the best of my work for you to print yourself or to have someone else print for $10. Again – it's only for the first 100 takers.

I was planning this since I saw that I was going to hit 600,000 followers. And even if you don't want to print a file today – this would be a good time to take me up on the offer. You may want to use them for cards or any non-commercial purpose later on.

The files normally sell for $25 each. And they are created from the exact same files I use to do my fine art prints.

So thanks again for the Google popularity and share this with your friends.

Dave

P.S. I'll POST HOW MANY SALES THERE HAVE BEEN HERE. NOT EXACTLY REAL TIME BUT WILL GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF HOW MANY ARE LEFT.

I want them, but not sure how I could use them. My sites (where I would use them in my blogs) are career and job focused….

Thanks, Dave, I love your images and hope to hang one of these on a big empty wall that's been begging for a great photo!

8 in the first ten minutes. I think that's a good sign. they may go very quickly. if they do, then in a month or so i'll put up another package. it's all an experiment for me and I've been told by a few photo friends that I'm underselling myself. But I think I've come up with a way that involves very little work for me (it should all be automated). We'll see how it goes.

Hope my VPS server can keep up with the downloads :)

+Dave Beckerman this is a very cool idea. While this particular set isn't of interest to me, I do look forward to future packages. One recommendation is to indicate what size print can be made from the images. It's great to say they are high resolution, but indicating they are appropriate for YxZ prints might help people understand what they could do with the images.

+Peggy McKee I don't mind if you use them on your commercial sites. I just don't want them to be resold.

+Scott Starks Yeah. It's a tricky subject. Whereas the natural size might easily produce a 12 x 18 inch file – I could with an extrapolation program print it at 4 x 5 feet (and have done so).

Also they are all from different sources, from digital to 35mm to large format negatives. But I should go through them and give at least a recommended larger size. You can actually tell what are the normal sizes by clicking on the images which will take you to the print page which has sizes… but it would be better to put the recommended sizes next to the images.

+Dave Beckerman understood. Thanks for considering the idea.

+Dave Beckerman I know – these don't work for my subject. I could use pictures of "Help Wanted" or even "I need a Job" or a business might work…

Dave: This is a great idea! I love your photos and would love to take part in supporting the effort. But alas, I am on a fixed income and will not have health insurance for another 6 months. Not moaning just wish I could grab some of this for the walls!

+Sam Bennett Understand… No health insurance for me either.

Thanks best offer I'll see today

I sold 50 packages since this went up yesterday which is great. I was happy to see that the mechanisms I put in place were working automatically. This was sort of a proof of concept idea. The next thing I'm going to do is have a translator on the page. Almost everyone that placed an order was from an English speaking country. So that's the next thing I'll be doing today with a WordPress Plugin.

I will also put the optimal size next to each image. That seems to be very important.

After I get all the kinks ironed out, really just a few things with wording – I'll offer the package again and a new package. I'm open to ideas such as: ALL COLOR or SUPER-SIZED IMAGES.

And as not all 100 went in one day – after I repost this with a language translator – I will open it up to my regular website visitors. All in all I'm very happy with the results and see a lot of potential with this "home built" download program.

Woot, bought! Thanks for making your images accessible like this.

You are very welcome. If anyone has ideas for other packages they'd like to see – let me know. These were just the shots that I personally liked very much. But no theme to it. The next one will cost more, but the idea will be the same.
