I just stood by the hop scotch board (which wasn’t actually drawn by kids but by the store employees as a way to get kids in) and took shots of people walking by or over it without knowing why or what I was looking for.  After about a half hour, a woman (my age) sat down, and after a while we began talking about the street games we played, and after a while her husband stopped by and we found ourselves remembering more and more games.

We also realized after studying the board that the numbers were facing backwards.  I figured a kid would eventually walk by and give it a try, and one did but she was carefully guided through it by her mom.

I’ll post a few of them here, and maybe some will still seem interesting tomorrow.
