You’ve seen me mention NIK software in a lot of posts. I use it for Paintography, and for most of my — well I just use it for everything. And I woke up this morning to see read that NIK had been bought by – you guessed it – Google.

I sort of hate when that happens. My experiences with large companies purchasing smaller ones and then trying to incorporate cultures – and this goes back to the start of personal computer when I first became involved with dBase III.

On the other hand – what will Google do with NIK. Will it become part of the G+ photography universe. Will it be destroyed by the clash of cultures or whatever it is that makes these incorporations fail to work.
