The title is just because of the pretty big ‘Bronx’ graffiti on the entrance to the GW bridge. One thing about that Circle Line cruise was that it did pass under every bridge in Manhattan. That alone was worth the ticket. It even went by what we used to call “The Little George Washington” bridge which we used to walk across as kids. It was only when I was older than I learned that we lived in an area of the Bronx called Highbridge.

There is an interesting history to the Little GW… as I believe it was the first bridge built in NYC, but I’d have to check into that. The last time I looked, it was still in operation.

    I’m crazy for bridges, especially ones like this one with arches. It’s a really great photo, and the infrared really works well here.

    BTW Dave, are you still posting at Pixiq?
