You say no way. I’ve had this in my head for a long time now. There are over 1.5 million people who have me circled on G Plus.
So the obvious question is what would happen if I offered high resolution downloads strictly through G+ (and okay, I’m writing about it here since it’s been on for a while). Could I sell 1000 downloads? 5000?
I know, I know – I’m undervaluing my work. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard that I’d be a millionaire and wouldn’t be trying these stunts.
Nevertheless – you can click the G Plus link to read about it. The tricky part is that the thing absolutely has to go viral and be shared in order to work. Otherwise posts go by so fast that most people don’t see the offer. I wouldn’t have to keep posting it if I could just put it on the side of my profile in a little box (what Google calls an advertisement).
I haven’t mentioned this at the top of my store (www.Beckermanphoto.com) or any other social media. Oh, now it’s going to tweet. It’s been live for two hours. I’m keeping track of the reaction during the day. I’m planning to repost once per hour through the day and then end it and figure out what it all means.
