From Burnside Avenue in the Bronx
Spent the morning doing portraits of dad in the Bronx. Will post some of the better ones later. One thing I will tell you, is that the Bronx really is beautiful. Back at University Avenue, (where I grew up) we ran into the super and asked how much the rent was for a two bedroom and was told $1200. The thing about University Avenue near Featherbed Lane is that it isn’t near any subway (or el train). And it is now a gated building. But the renovations that have gone on in that section – just amazing.
