walk in rain

Time to put Paris down for a few days, and get back to some work I need to finish for a client.  I did a tremendous amount of scanning, but don’t have time to work on the images now; besides, it feels like a good time to take a break from the glorious city.

  1. There’s a lovely sense of ‘wetness’ to this image. I can feel the soaked quality of the fabric and that certain mood that comes with the mist.

  2. Yes At 100% view you can see rain drops beading up on thr jacket and bits around the collar soaked through.

And there is this misty feeling. It’s a close call between this shot and the next one where I don’t cut off his feet but you don’t get the same sense of the wetness of the fabric.

These are the somewhat crazy things I find myself pondering when making the selection of what is an “okay” shot that I like alot.

I say okay because it was easy to shoot if you didn’t mind getting wet; and after all it’s just a guy walking in the rain and yet I would like to put it in a calendar for April.

  3. I love how you cut the tree, almost looking like an umbrella !

  4. Yes. It was shot with that idea. Didn’t know if anyone would notice.

  5. Ok. You finally did it. Your comment has stumped me. Joke. Maybe. Serious. Maybe. Wrong idea. I think so.

  6. But wait. I didn’t see links.

and watched both links…. and okay, that is interesting… which means that it’s too much extra stuff for me to get plus i’m almost finished; but yeah, i do get it.
