High Resolution files will be emailed to you between 1 and 3 days. It's a perfect way to print it yourself and not pay for international shipping charges. The longest edge is at least 4800 pixels. How large a print can go depends on the skill and the interpolation of the professional that is doing your printing. Most files can easily be printed at 13 x 19 inches.

The file will be a jpg, with an Adobe 98 RGB Profile, saved at level 10. They are created from the same file used to produce prints.

This is one of those pictures from “the old days” in the Bronx that I still love.

The thing that I do remember about this, was that we were driving along the Bruckner, and I was with my sister and forced her to pull over although there wasn’t much of a shoulder. And I pulled the tripod out from the backseat (why I had the tripod with me I don’t remember) and set this up to just frame that whatever it is at the top of the frame and that it was what we called, “the magic hour” when lights are just coming on and the sun is just below the horizon.

I suppose that what makes this still interesting is the little house, all patched up, in the middle of all these junked cars, at a point where the river splits. I have kept a lookout for this spot whenever I go up to the Bronx (there are still relatives up there) but I believe it’s long gone.
