I still love to wander the streets of New York at night. I feel that there are a few times when the city has a magical look: when it snows (at least for the first hour before it turns to sludge); at night; and the early morning as the sun is rising for a few minutes.
This shot was the result of setting up and waiting for the right cab to fall into place in relation to the gigantic poster in the background. Film, circa 2001.
