And if you’ve read the backstory to the first Poets Walk I did:
After that, knowing that this particular view sold so well, and as I was often asked if I had a fall shot or a summer shot of Poets Walk I would try for it – but no matter what I did I couldn’t get anything I liked that said, “summer.”
The truth is that the trees here are only interesting when the leaves are gone so you get a feeling of one tree after another. Fill them with leaves and it turns into a big mushy thing. (That would be filed under my not so humble opinion).
But Winter is another story and you’ll see a lot of good shots of Poets Walk during Winter. This was taken so many years later – moving from the film 4 x 5 view camera (with a wide lens) in 1993 to the Digital Rebel with a 300mm lens.
Well, maybe somehow I’ll get a good summer and autumn shot and complete the four seasons of Poets Walk
